Yesterday I joined Gemma & Dan (AKA: ‘Coco’) for their sunny, relaxed (and tweedy!) wedding at East Riddlesden Hall, near Keighley in Yorkshire.
It was a beautiful, fun-filled summer’s day, set around the National Trust grounds, with the ceremony and evening reception in the grand tithe barn, and afternoon drinks and canapes on the lawn set in front of the 17th-century manor house. Gemma’s delicate dress was created from scratch, and (while not necessarily wisely in the summer sun) Dan was head to toe in an ace 3-piece tweed, which carried over into the groomsmen’s waistcoating.
I do love a spot of tweed!
It was particularly nice to reunite with the Shaw contingent, as I photographed Gemma’s sister Jo’s wedding to Stephen a good few years back.
I hope you enjoy the story of their special day!
So here’s a massive congratulations to Mr & Mrs Coco! Here’s hoping you guys have a long and happy life together and enjoy your well deserved honeymoon break in Canada!
Party on,
Barnaby + Hamish
