Yesterday, my good pal Martyn Hand & I joined Fiona + Ed for their wedding photography at The Mansion in Roundhay Park, in North Leeds!
It was a brilliant day, in spite of the mixed bag Mother Nature was throwing around considering the proximity to mid-summer!  But fun was had by all, from the relaxed preparations at Malmaison on the River Aire in Leeds city centre.  As these guys are very much outdoorsy types (who have emigrated to Melbourne, down under, where it’s all the easier to plan outdooring in good weather!) there was a fun nature theme, as well as buttons studded throughout the day (Fiona has a thing about them!).  Also, as the ceremony was at 11am, the wedding breakfast made for a more normally timed lunch, and left a long afternoon playing games outside in the afternoon sunshine!  Needless to say, plenty time for drinking meant the dancefloor was full the moment it opened, and we left the gang to party into the night!
Lovely day hey?  Hope you enjoyed the story!
Here’s wishing Fiona + Ed a very happy married life indeed and fab minimoon break in the Lakes before heading back down under!
Congratulations guys!
