Last Saturday I joined Ali + Pete for their wedding photography at Ripley Castle, near Harrogate in North Yorkshire! While a tad windy, it was a wonderful Autumnal Yorkshire day and the day went off without a hitch!
I joined Ali and her (mainly mental!) bridesmaids at their home in the lovely village of Emsay near Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales and my wingman Hamish joined Pete and the dudes at The Boar’s Head in outrageously quaint village of Ripley. This lovely couple have been together for over a decade and are a seriously sporty pair – Pete a pro cyclist and Ali a top triathlete – and loads of their pals there friends from cycling and Tri Club. It was also lovely to see a load of familiar faces at this wedding, as I’d shot their cousins Jen + Rob’s wedding 5 years ago!
As well as this highlights blog and the shareable images on my Official Facebook Page, I’ll be uploading their full set of images to a password protected client area in a matter of weeks, so if you’d like to be notified when all their images go live, register your email address at: clients.barnabyaldrick.com/AlisonAndPeter. (NB: I’ll only use your email address to notify you about their gallery)
So – enough chat! Here are my highlights from the story of their special day…
What a lovely day hey?
Here’s wishing these guys (and their lovely pooch Pip) huge congratulations and a very long and happy marriage!
Have a fab honeymoon!
