Yesterday I joined Michelle + Kenny for their beautiful Spring wedding photos at Goldsborough Hall, a fab stately home wedding venue between Harrogate & Knaresborough in Yorkshire!
After setting the scene around a sun dappled grounds around Goldsborough Hall, I joined Michelle and her two bridesmaids for their relaxed preps in the amazing ‘Lascelles Suite’ (which sports an awesome sunken panoramic bath overlooking the grounds AND its very own private cinema with a 150″ cinema screen!). After an hour or so I joined Kenny and his wedding party of 7 – including his bestie Emily under the excellently titled position of ‘Groom’s Champion’ – and let them throw on button holes and toast the day in the bar.
With her father ill and sadly missed, Michelle was walked down the aisle by her mother. A mid-day civil ceremony meant a quick shower of confetti and a round of group pics, we soon had a nice long afternoon to enjoy canapés and fizz in the sunshine!
(It was hard to believe the fortunate weather, after it’d wanged it down solidly the day before!!)
As always, the gang at Goldsborough delivered that perfect blend of homely and stately, only enhanced by the India Rose String Quartet playing beautiful covers.
Speeches were brilliantly delivered, not only by Kenny & The Groom’s Champ, but Dad had his moving and hilarious speech read out by a groomsman, and it was lovely to hear his words.
After the meal, it was fun to have a host of Kenny’s rugby pals pile in to join the action! It was however, hard to get the guests out of the sunshine and in for the cake cut and first dance, but once M+K grooved their way through ‘Shut Up and Dance’ by Walk The Moon, everyone piled on for a good boogie!
But enough chat already! It was a fun day the photos tell a great story in themselves! So, grab y’sen a nice mug o’Yorkshire tea and hit play on the slideshow below to check out their wedding highlights slideshow…

Lovely day hey? They make a great pair and clearly have a tonne of lovely friends and very dear family!
Here’s wishing huge congratulations to this fab pair, and may they have a great trip (and hopefully equally lovely weather) in Windermere in the Lakes for their honeymoon!
Big love! Barnaby
